Irfan M. Rydhan - He is Executive Producer and Host for Muslim Round Table Television.
Irfan is a "Multimedia" artist who has degrees in Architecture (U.C. Berkeley, 1997) and Liberal Arts (West Valley, 1995). Irfan co-founded "Jam-Productions" (www.jam-productions.com) a Digital Video Production company in 1999. They Have done professional camera and/or video editing work for CAIR, AMA (American Muslim Alliance), ING (Islamic Networks Group), JUNOON, Rahat Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Discovery Channel, ZDTV, TechTV," California Music Awards", and the "Golden Globe Awards".
Irfan is also a member of the South Bay Islamic Association Media Outreach Committee (www.sbia.net), which works with the major media outlets in covering topics related to Islam and Muslims in the Bay Area. They also help to train the local Muslim community in how to effectively interact with the Media.
Irfan is also on the Board of Directors for the Muslim Film Festival (www.muslimfilmfestival.org) which held the first ever film festival by and for Muslims in the Bay Area in 2004.

Javaid Malik

Javaid has a B.A. in Radio and Television Broadcasting from San Francisco State University, 1998.
Javaid is the C.E.O. of Jam-Productions.Com and is also a Board of Governor for the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS), Northern California Chapter.
Javaid has done professional camera, editing, producing and various other video and film related work for some of the top Broadcasting and Film companies and organizations such as Forte Films, Brainstorm Motion Pictures, Discovery Channel, ZDTV, TechTV, CBS News and ABC News.
He currently works as a Broadcast Engineer and News Producer for ABC 7 News in San Francisco, CA. |

Nizar Ahmed
|
Nizar Ahmed brings seven years of experience in the new media field to the Muslim Round Table team as our Technical Director. Using the convergence of television and Internet technologies, Nizar has had the fortuity of working with clients such as Creative Labs, Foot Levelers, Saturn, Hiller Aviation Museum, American Cancer Society, Ohlone College, and various other educational institutions. With his expansive skill set of non-linear editing, camera work, producing, and on-air presence he has been involved in several complex and exciting projects.
Nizar has developed rich media solutions for fortune 500 and e-marketing companies like Quovera and Cogit.com, which include video vignettes of products, Macromedia Flash presentations, and interactive CD-ROMs. He also managed the multimedia and engineering teams at eGetgoing, Inc to help develop the web presence and their multimedia product for client distribution.
Nizar Ahmed has a degree in Broadcast and Electronic Communication Arts and Speech and Communication from San Francisco State University.

Zaki Hassan |
Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Zaki Hasan got his Bachelors in Film & Video Production at Columbia College Chicago, the largest film school in the Midwest.
In 1998, Zaki joined fellow Chicago filmmaker Sean Coyle in the formation of Mr. Boy Productions ( www.mrboyproductions.com), where he has served as co-writer and producer on several short and feature length projects.
In addition to his film work, Zaki has gained national acclaim for his graphic design and political cartoons, receiving the prestigious Award of Excellence from the Kettle Moraine Press Association, among others. Zaki's artwork has appeared in several newspapers, and he briefly served as art director for YOUNG MUSLIM magazine, published by SoundVision.
Zaki most recently worked as a performer and screenwriter on COLLECT CALL and TEMPLE OF THE DOG, both of which premiered in January of 2003. He is currently in active pre-production on SACRIFICE, a short-film targeted for release early next year.
Zaki has appeared on the following shows:

Hana Siddiqi |
Hana Siddiqi was born in London and raised in the Bay Area. She received her Bachelors in Social and Political Thought from San Jose State University. During her time at SJSU she also minored in Speech Communication and worked with Radio-Television-Film Studies. She spent two years working at KSJS, the SJSU radio station, in which she engineered a weekly show, hosted and conducted events and shows, and worked on promotions.
As the founder of MECCA (Muslims Engaged in Creating Consciousness in America), a group directed at the artistic Muslim community, she held monthly Open Mic events in San Jose featuring poetry, spoken word, world music, Sufi hymns and Hip Hop.
She went on to do her Masters in Near Eastern Studies at New York University, where she did an ethnographic study, including a year long participant observation of a New York City based Sufi group. After experiencing New York during 9/11, she began doing some freelance writing for www.Islam-Online.com. She is now working as a Substitute Teacher in the Bay Area, and preparing herself for further studies in Social and Cultural Anthropology with an emphasis in ethnographic film and documentary production.

Scott Miller
|
Scott Miller is a San Francisco based sound engineer, whose career spans 10 years of radio, music, film and multimedia projects. His sound design and re-recording work has been featured in films screened at the Sundace, Film Arts Foundation, SF Asian American Film Festivals among others, including two awarded Best Short Film at San Francisco International and two consecutive winners of the national Princess Grace Prize.
With a solid base at the largest foreign language television station in the United States, KTSF, Scott's television work has covered 20 languages and has been seen around the world. He is a frequent guest lecturer on Post Production Sound in the Film Department at San Francisco State University. |
